Electrician

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs and maintenance industry. An established property services contractor is looking for a fully qualified Electrician to join their team working across South West London. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with an initial 3-month temporary period before moving onto a permanent contract. The role offers stability, a company van and the opportunity to work on a long-term social housing/property maintenance contract. The Role: Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and remedial works within residential properties Diagnose and rectify electrical faults and complete reactive maintenance repairs Undertake electrical installation and maintenance works as required Carry out works within occupied and void properties Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in line with current electrical regulations Complete accurate job records and relevant certification where required Work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Participate in an optional out-of-hours call-out rota What We're Looking For: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation – essential AM2 – essential Experience working within social housing, responsive repairs, property maintenance or a similar environment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good understanding of electrical regulations and health and safety procedures Professional and customer-focused approach Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence Willingness to undergo a DBS check Previous experience within residential property maintenance Benefits: Temp-to-perm opportunity with an initial 3-month temporary period Company van provided upon moving onto the permanent contract Optional out-of-hours call-out Fortus Recruitment Group Limited acts as an Employment Business for the supply of temporary workers and an Employment Agency for permanent vacancies.
