Learning Support Assistant – Orrell / WN5 Multiple Opportunities | Full Training Available | Secondary School Teaching Personnel are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming secondary school in Orrell, WN5. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a genuine difference to students' day-to-day education. Whether you have previous school experience or are looking to take your first step into education, training and support are available. The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teaching staff to help students access their education and get the most from their time in school. Your responsibilities could include: Providing one-to-one and small-group support Helping students understand and complete classroom tasks Encouraging positive engagement and participation Supporting students with additional learning needs Helping maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment Working closely with teachers and other support staff Providing general support throughout the school day Assisting with exams when required Training & Development Teaching Personnel can provide: Teaching Assistant training Free Exam Invigilator training Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant Access to further CPD and development opportunities Valuable experience within a secondary school setting The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Patient, approachable and supportive Confident building positive relationships with young people Reliable and professional Able to work effectively as part of a school team Passionate about helping students achieve their potential Location: Orrell, WN5 Role: Learning Support Assistant Positions: Multiple vacancies School: Secondary school Training: TA and free Exam Invigilator training available All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
