Our client is a manufacturer and supplier of test and measurement instruments serving the heating, ventilation & air conditioning (HVAC) The Service & Calibration Technician is responsible for the calibration, servicing, repair and testing of test instruments. Key Responsibilities * Calibration & Testing * Repairs & Servicing * Quality & Compliance * Customer & Technical Support * Continuous Improvement Skills & Experience Essential * An interest in working with electrical, electronic or measuring instruments. * Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. * Good written and verbal communication skills. Desirable * Experience in calibration or metrology. * Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electronic equipment. * An electronics qualification such as City & Guilds, HNC/HND, NVQ, BTEC or equivalent. * Knowledge of combustion analysis, HVAC instrumentation, electrical testing or condition monitoring equipment. * Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality environment. * Soldering and PCB repair experience. * Full UK driving licence
