Laboratory Technician Near Crewkerne Commutable from Chard, Taunton, Yeovil, Axminster, Honiton and Ilminster Salary: £29,250 per annum Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Friday An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Technician to join a busy food manufacturing site. This role would suit someone looking to start or develop a career in quality assurance, laboratory testing and food safety as full training will be provided. Working as part of the Quality team, you be carrying out routine testing, inspections and quality checks. Full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Routine product and environmental sampling Environmental and equipment swabbing Laboratory testing and analysis Quality inspections and GMP audits Hygiene verification activities Recording, reporting and reviewing results Providing general QA support across the site About You We are looking for someone who is: Practical and detail-focused Organised and reliable Interested in laboratory testing and food quality Full training will be provided Benefits Salary of c. £29,250 + Excellent Benefits This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills across laboratory testing, quality assurance and food safety
