Vehicle Suspension and Steering Mechanic - Up to £23 per hour – York About the Opportunity We’re recruiting an experienced Vehicle Suspension and Steering Mechanic for a brand-new, state-of-the-art accident repair centre in York. This is an excellent chance to join a rapidly expanding UK accident repair group with strong backing, modern facilities, and excellent employee development. Key Responsibilities Diagnose problems with suspension and steering systems using diagnostic equipment and test drives. Repair or replace damaged or worn suspension components such as shock absorbers, struts, and control arms. Align wheels to manufacturers' specifications to ensure proper handling. Inspect and service steering systems, including power steering pumps, racks, and linkages. Perform regular maintenance, such as lubrication and adjustment of suspension and steering parts. Test drive vehicles to ensure that suspension and steering issues have been resolved.  What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a mechanic in an automotive repair environment. In-depth knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair. Strong understanding of ADAS systems. Knowledgeable in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles.
