Setting Out Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to work in Kent for a Tier 1 Contractor. Key Responsibilities • Setting out for earthworks, utilities, and foundation works • Checking holding down bolts and structural elements • Managing and supervising site engineering activities • Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with technical drawings and specifications • Liaising with subcontractors, survey teams, and site management • Maintaining accurate QA records, site documentation, and as-builts • Supporting project delivery through technical guidance and problem solving Requirements • Proven experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering projects • Strong setting out experience using Total Station / Leica / Trimble • Experience with earthworks, utilities, and foundation works • Experience checking holding down bolts • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications • Strong communication and organisational skills Desirable • Experience working on major infrastructure • SMSTS / SSSTS • Relevant engineering qualification
