Supply SEN Teaching Assistant – Bury / North Manchester Do you have experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and want work that fits your availability? We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for flexible supply opportunities across Bury and North Manchester. * Competitive daily pay rates in line with previous experience. * Location: Bury / North Manchester. * Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is essential. * Day-to-day and short-term assignments, subject to school requirements. * Opportunities to provide one-to-one and small-group classroom support. Duties * Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs, including those with autism and disabilities, to promote their academic and social development * Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies * Support children during classroom activities, including lessons, playtime, and transitions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment * Foster positive communication and social skills through one-on-one interaction and group activities * Support toddlers and young children by providing care that encourages independence and confidence * Help monitor progress and report on student development to teachers and specialists * Maintain a nurturing atmosphere that promotes inclusion, respect, and understanding among all students These roles would suit adaptable, caring individuals who can build rapport quickly and follow existing support plans.
