Customs Agent / Specialist Near Tonbridge, Kent (Office-based) Up to £30,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-in-6 Weekend Rota) About the Opportunity Are you an experienced Customs, Logistics, or Supply Chain professional looking to step into a high-growth, stable environment? We are recruiting for an established and rapidly expanding customs agency within the fresh produce and FMCG sector near Tonbridge, Kent. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and submit customs declarations and associated pre-notifications for clients and group operations. * Proactively manage customs holds on consignments to ensure the timely release of time-critical, perishable goods. * Act as a key liaison with third parties including HMRC, APHA, port authorities, inland border facilities, and hauliers. * Ensure accurate application of Customs Procedure Codes (CPCs) and compliance for controlled goods subject to sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) controls.
