Audit Senior Sutton, South London | Office based Location: Sutton, South London (office based) Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Contract: Permanent, full time Qualification: ACA or ACCA Newly qualified and ready to run your own audits? Or already a senior and looking for a team where you can properly lead jobs and bring juniors on? This role in Sutton, with a good mix of commercial and charity audits, could be a good fit. ABOUT THE FIRM My client is a well-established local practice that's part of a large UK and Ireland accountancy and business advisory group. It has the feel of a close-knit local office, with the training, technical support and specialist colleagues of a much bigger firm behind it. The audit team is growing, which is why they're hiring. THE ROLE You'll lead audits for a mix of commercial and charity clients from planning through to completion, running the fieldwork, keeping the file in good order and getting it ready for manager review. You'll be the day-to-day contact for your clients, so there's plenty of client time. You'll also help the juniors on each job and answer their questions, which is a big part of what makes a good senior. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Leading commercial and charity audits from planning to completion Making sure files are complete, well organised and ready for sign-off Analysing client data and giving practical recommendations Building relationships with new and existing clients Supporting and mentoring junior team members on site Preparing and reviewing accounts, and some tax, VAT and PAYE work Planning your own workload to hit deadlines WHO THIS WILL SUIT ACA or ACCA qualified UK audit experience in practice Experience supervising and coaching juniors on site Organised, with a good eye for detail Comfortable dealing with clients and building rapport WHAT'S ON OFFER 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy up to 5 more Office closure over Christmas Life assurance at 4x salary, pension, and enhanced family leave and sick pay Flexible benefits including private medical and dental Varied work across commercial and charity audits in an expanding team GET IN TOUCH If you're an audit senior in South London or Surrey, or newly qualified and ready for the step up, I'd love to hear from you.
