Audit and Accounts Manager

Firm overview They largely work hybrid, 60% of the time over a month is ideally office based and they are a very long-standing brand, proudly independent and intending to stay that way, so offering real opportunity to ambitious employees. Their clients can have significant wealth, not always seen in an independent firm client base, offering interesting and far-reaching advisory opportunities. Holidays are 25 days, plus they close at Christmas, which they also give you on top of the 25, with bank holidays in addition. On top of the pension is health insurance. Salaries are open within reason – so are confident they can put together a competitive salary and package for the right hire.  JOB 1) Audit and Accounts Manager – happy to consider Assistant Manager level upwards and might consider up to Senior Manager. The portfolio for this role is 90% audit and 10% accounts based and the firm are ideally seeking a hire into the Nottingham office around Manager level, reviewing audit work, overseeing staff who are well trained and technically strong. This is more of a compliance review role for audit and they would prefer someone who understands both audit and accounts work, as the firm usually do the accounts for clients too.
