Regional Account Manager

We are working with a well-established pump rental provider delivering temporary and engineered pumping solutions across the construction, water, and environmental sectors nationwide They are now seeking a Regional Account Manager to support customers across the North East, based from the Middlesbrough area This is a field-based account management role focused on building long-term relationships with Water Authority, Tier 1, and Tier 2 contractor customers, identifying project opportunities, and providing commercially sound pumping solutions What The Role Offers: * Earnings of up to £70,000 including bonus * Company car * Key account role covering the North East region * Long-term career opportunity within the hire, water, and infrastructure sectors * Opportunity to manage Water Authority and Tier 1 / Tier 2 contractor relationships * Field-based role with regular customer and site engagement * 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing with service * Private Medical Insurance and medical cash plan * Pension based on total earnings * Ongoing training, development, and product development Responsibilities: * Manage and develop key regional accounts across the North East * Support Water Authority and Tier 1 / Tier 2 contractor customers with project requirements * Build strong long-term relationships with customers, contractors, and site teams * Identify opportunities to grow revenue across existing and new customer accounts * Produce accurate job pricing and quotations through the hire system * Own the quotation process, ensuring follow-up is completed quickly and professionally * Carry out site surveys and gather information to support technical and commercial solutions * Work closely with internal hire, sales, operations, and technical solutions teams * Maintain strong product knowledge across pump hire, installations, and related services Skills & Experience: * Proven sales or account management experience * Background in hire, rental, construction, utilities, water, or related sectors * Experience developing new accounts and growing existing accounts * Experience in field-based sales with customer site visits * Strong relationship-building skills with a long-term account management approach * Commercially aware with the ability to identify profitable opportunities * Self-starter who can work autonomously across a regional patch * Strong communication, planning, and time management skills * Full UK driving licence Summary Position: Regional Account Manager Location: Middlesbrough / North East Duration: Permanent Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 includes Bonus + Company Car Hours: 40 hours per week Start: Notice dependent This is a strong opportunity for an experienced sales or account management professional to take ownership of a key regional customer base within a well-established pump rental business Apply Now
