Data Architect 6 months Remote £700 per day inside IR35 - Umbrella only Active SC clearance required, eligible candidates will be considered Our Client is hiring for a reputed client on a 6-month contract, providing crucial technical architecture capability for a data migration discovery. You'll be part of the Legacy Tech Debt programme, working closely with client teams to shape design decisions that are safe, viable and aligned to the wider architecture. What you'll be doing: Guide technical design decisions for a data migration discovery Assess the feasibility of data extraction approaches, ensuring safety and viability Support architecture alignment with wider standards and direction Analyse a complex estate of 54 Oracle database instances Oversee reverse engineering activities Assure the quality of key technical artefacts produced during discovery What you'll bring: Strong data architecture and technical design experience, ideally across complex estates Ability to evaluate data extraction feasibility and risk with a pragmatic, engineering-led mindset Confidence working with multiple stakeholders, including delivery partners and client teams Strong analytical skills, with experience using reverse engineering to inform architecture decisions A quality-focused approach to ensuring technical artefacts meet the bar for discovery outcomesIf you're an experienced Data Architect who enjoys solving complex data challenges and shaping technical direction from the outset, we'd love to hear from you.
