HLTA Gloucester Mainstream Primary School Academics are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety or is looking to secure a long-term placement. As an HLTA, you will be expected to provide PPA cover across a couple of year groups, support learning across the curriculum, and work closely with school staff to ensure pupils remain engaged and on track. Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-planned lessons across a couple of year groups Provide PPA cover when required Support small groups and individual pupils Support classroom behaviour management Assist with tracking pupil progress Requirements: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience Previous experience covering classes Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Or willing to apply) What We Offer: Competitive daily rates (£95-£120: Depending on experience) Flexible working Access to training and CPD PAYEYou may have recently qualified as an ECT and are open to gaining more experience by working as a HLTA.
