Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Crawley. The Role As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of works on a busy highways scheme, ensuring construction is completed safely, accurately and in accordance with project specifications. Key Responsibilities * Setting out and surveying for highways and civil engineering works * Checking levels, line and grade * Providing technical support to the Site Management team * Completing QA checks and maintaining accurate site records * Working from construction drawings and specifications * Liaising with subcontractors and site management * Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality and programme * Assisting with engineering and technical queries on site Requirements * Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways/civil engineering projects * Strong setting-out experience * Competent with relevant surveying equipment * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience * CSCS * Strong communication and organisational skills If you are an experienced Site Engineer available for an ASAP start and interested in a long-term highways project in Crawley, please apply with your up-to-date CV
