Management Accountant

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnering with a business in Blyth on the appointment of a Management Accountant. This is a highly visible role where you'll lead the financial reporting for a dedicated business entity, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller and acting as the key finance contact for the division. Key Responsibilities * To manage the month end accounts production & reporting cycle of company including the preparation and posting of monthly journals, including prepayments and accruals. * Preparation of all balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis * Preparation of monthly Flash reports and weekly KPIs ensuring accuracy and timeliness * Management of accounts payable including sign-off of proposed payment runs * Management of accounts receivable including identifying any risk receivables * Perform quarterly VAT reporting and audit deliverables, liaising closely with external advisors About You * Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA) or studying towards qualification * Relevant management accounting experience within a similar environment * Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail * Organised, deadline-driven and confident working with internal stakeholders Offering * Salary of £47,000-£52,000 * Study Support available for Part-Qualified applicants * Hybrid working * Flexi-time * Great benefits package
