Domestic Gas Safe Engineer Location: Salisbury Area / South Wiltshire Salary: £35,000–£45,000 basic DOE + Overtime Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Benefits: Company Van & Fuel | Tools Provided | 21 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays | Overtime We’re looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Safe Engineer to join an established heating and electrical contractor covering Salisbury and the surrounding area. This is a varied position rather than a pure installation role. You’ll be carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repairs and reactive work across an established customer base. It would suit an experienced Gas Engineer or Heating Engineer who enjoys diagnosing problems and completing a varied workload rather than spending every day on boiler installations. The Role Typical responsibilities will include: * Domestic boiler servicing * Gas appliance maintenance * Fault finding and diagnostics * Boiler breakdowns and repairs * Reactive heating maintenance * Heating system repairs * Radiator work * Cylinder work * General domestic heating maintenance * Identifying faults and recommending appropriate remedial work * Working safely and professionally in occupied properties * Completing jobs and updating information through the company CRM system Most work is located within approximately a 30-mile radius of Salisbury, although occasional travel further afield may be required for larger projects
