Who we are Synergise Recruitment Solutions started life in 2023 out of a home office in Torquay. Three years on we're a FWA/GLAA-licensed agency with a team of six, placing people into Industrial, Production and Logistics roles across the Southwest - temporary, temp-to-perm and fixed fee. We've grown fast because we do the basics properly - good people, compliant paperwork, and clients who trust us to turn up and deliver. Due to continued growth, we need someone to go out and win the next lot of clients. The role You'll be responsible for opening new supply channels for the business - finding and winning contracts we can build a proper, year-round relationship on, plus seasonal work weighted towards the winter months. This isn't a desk job waiting for leads to land in an inbox. You'll be out on the road: mapping out territory, researching businesses before you ever knock on the door, and finding smart ways to get past gatekeepers and in front of the person who actually makes the decision. Once you've won the business, you'll help set it up properly - including site visits, which won't always fall neatly inside a 9-5. What you'll bring * At least 3 years in temp / temp to perm recruitment, or a comparable new business or field sales background * A genuine track record of winning business through proactive prospecting - cold calling, canvassing, door-to-door and finding smart ways to get in the door new clients * Confidence generating your own leads rather than relying on LinkedIn or inbound * An understanding of why compliant, accurate paperwork matters in a licensed, regulated industry * Comfort with a CRM and the discipline to keep it properly up to date * A full UK driving licence and your own transport What you're like Hungry and driven, with a good laugh about you. You listen before you pitch. You're ready to hit the ground running rather than needing months to find your feet, and you're a team player - this is a small, close business and everyone pulls together. You're comfortable that some weeks won't be 9-5, and you're happy to be on site at whatever hour a new client needs you.
