Temporary Part-Time HR Administrator Location: Letchworth Duration: 2-4 months Start Date: Immediately Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week, spread across 4-5 days Working Arrangement: Fully office-based We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Part-Time HR Administrator to join a lovely, well-established business based in Letchworth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator who is immediately available and looking for a part-time temporary assignment. The role will support the wider HR function and would suit someone who enjoys a varied administrative role within a friendly and professional working environment. The Role As the HR Administrator, you will provide day-to-day administrative support across the HR function, ensuring employee records and processes are maintained accurately and efficiently. Key Duties Providing general administrative support to the HR team. Maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases. Preparing and issuing HR documentation, including contracts, letters and other correspondence. Supporting the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing paperwork and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed. Assisting with leaver processes and ensuring records are updated accordingly. Maintaining accurate personnel files, both electronic and hard copy. Supporting with holiday, absence and sickness records. Assisting with the administration of employee benefits and payroll-related information. Preparing HR reports and spreadsheets as required. Supporting with recruitment administration, including arranging interviews and communicating with candidates. Assisting with right-to-work checks and ensuring relevant documentation is recorded. Helping to coordinate HR meetings, training and employee communications. Responding to general HR queries from employees and directing more complex queries to the appropriate member of the HR team. Ensuring all HR information is handled with a high level of confidentiality and discretion. Providing general administrative support on ad-hoc HR projects and tasks. About You The successful candidate will have: Previous experience working within an HR environment is essential. Strong HR administration experience and a good understanding of general HR processes. Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally. Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel. A proactive, reliable and flexible approach. The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
