Graduate Noise Consultant - Liverpool Overview Penguin Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Noise Consultant to join their client's team near Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to kickstart their career in environmental noise and acoustics. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £27,000-£30,000 per year, depending on experience. Responsibilities As a Graduate Noise Consultant, key responsibilities will include: Conducting environmental noise surveys and assessments. Performing noise monitoring and data analysis. Undertaking noise assessments for planning and development projects. Preparing detailed technical reports. Engaging in acoustic modelling and mitigation strategies. Collaborating with clients, planners, and project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Qualifications We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria: A degree in acoustics, physics, engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline. A genuine interest in noise and acoustics, with a practical and analytical mindset. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop technical skills. Day-to-Day A typical day will involve: Conducting site visits to perform noise surveys and collect data. Analyzing noise data and preparing comprehensive reports. Using acoustic modelling software to assess and propose mitigation measures. Collaborating with experienced consultants to deliver client-focused solutions. Participating in team meetings and contributing to project planning.
