Fire Door Surveyor / Fire Door Inspector

Fire Door Surveyor We are partnering with a long-established and growing Fire Safety consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Door Surveyor to support their continued expansion. Our client is a thriving SME business with a friendly and collaborative team environment. The consultancy works across residential, healthcare, commercial and public-sector properties, delivering fire-door inspections, compartmentation surveys and practical fire-safety compliance advice. The Role * Conduct fire-door inspections across residential, commercial and public-sector buildings * Assess fire-door compliance in accordance with relevant legislation and industry guidance * Identify defects and provide clear remedial recommendations * Produce detailed and accurate inspection reports * Carry out site surveys across a varied portfolio of properties throughout the UK * Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders regarding findings and compliance requirements * Support wider fire-safety projects where required * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire-door standards and fire-safety legislation About You * Experience undertaking fire-door inspections and surveys * Good understanding of fire-door compliance requirements and associated legislation * Experience producing technical reports and recommendations * Strong communication and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload * Full UK driving licence What's on Offer * Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience * Company Car * Company pension scheme * 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays * Paid travel expenses * Ongoing training, CPD and professional development support * Flexible working arrangements where appropriate * Supportive and collaborative team culture * Genuine progression opportunities within a growing consultancy If you're interested in this opportunity, please send an up-to-date CV outlining your experience within fire-door inspections, surveys and the Fire Safety sector
