Crane Supervisor (A62) | Edinburgh | £25.00 per hour

About the Opportunity * Long-term contract with around 30 weeks of secured work * Immediate start for the right candidate * Consistent full-time hours on a busy Edinburgh site The Role We're looking for an experienced Crane Supervisor / Slinger to take charge of lifting operations in Edinburgh. Working from the lift plan, you'll coordinate the crane operator and slinger/signallers to keep every lift safe, efficient and on schedule. * Supervise day-to-day lifting operations in line with the lift plan and method statement * Direct and communicate with crane operators, slingers and signallers * Carry out slinging and signalling duties as required * Make sure loads are correctly attached, balanced and rigged * Check lifting accessories are in date and fit for use * Enforce exclusion zones and site safety around the lift area * Report progress and any issues to the site management team What We're Looking For Essential * Valid CPCS Crane Supervisor (A62) card * Proven experience supervising lifting operations * Hands-on slinging and signalling experience * Own PPE * Right to work in the UK * Contactable references from previous employment Package & Benefits * £25.00 per hour * Ongoing 30-week contract, full-time and temporary * Site hours 07:00–18:00 Why Join? * Long-term, stable work with around 30 weeks secured * Immediate start, no waiting around * Set hours and a predictable daily schedule * Backed by UKR Group, a specialist construction recruitment agency How to Apply If you're an experienced Crane Supervisor with your A62 and strong slinging experience, we'd love to hear from you.
