Counterbalance Forklift Driver 📍 Slough Trading Estate 💷 £14.00 per hour 📄 Temp to Perm (12 weeks) We're currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse and manufacturing operation based on Slough Trading Estate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks. Shift Pattern This role operates on a rotating continental shift pattern: 3 days on - 7:00am to 7:00pm 3 days off 3 nights on - 7:00pm to 7:00am 3 days off Then the cycle repeats.This rota covers Monday to Sunday, so flexibility is essential. The Role As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you'll play a key role in keeping warehouse and production operations running efficiently. Duties will include: Operating a Counterbalance Forklift to move stock, pallets and materials safely around site. Loading and unloading deliveries. Transporting products between warehouse and production areas. Carrying out stock movements and assisting with stock checks. Completing load inspections and ensuring accurate stock handling. Using pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment where required. Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties.Please note: This role involves a significant amount of walking throughout the shift, so candidates must be comfortable working in a physically active environment. Requirements A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential). Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience. A good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures. Willingness to work rotating days and nights. Flexibility to work overtime when required. Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team. What's on Offer? £14.00 per hour Weekly pay.
