Connect2Swindon is recruiting on behalf of our client for reliable and safety-conscious Waste Collection Drivers (HGV Class 2) to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe collection, transportation, and disposal of waste materials while delivering a high standard of service to the local community. Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence. No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence. Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply. Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts and occasional weekend work where required.Day-to-Day Duties Complete pre-use vehicle inspections and attend route briefings. Drive designated collection routes across residential, commercial, and industrial areas. Ensure safe loading and unloading practices are followed at all times. Report any incidents, defects, or operational issues promptly. Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to maintain efficient operations.
