Procurement Specialist - FTC

Location: Royston (SG8) Duration: 3 months initially, possible extension Type: FTC Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:30 (37.5 hours per week) Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience Job Reference: 36290 We are looking for a Procurement Specialist for our client based near Royston. This is an excellent opportunity to join a technically focused organisation and provide essential procurement support during an important period of project delivery. Responsibilities: - Process and issue purchase orders accurately and promptly - Check BoMs, quantities, suppliers, pricing and delivery requirements - Maintain clear purchasing records and audit trails - Track supplier acknowledgements and delivery dates - Identify and escalate discrepancies or missing approvals - Process authorised amendments and cancellations - Liaise with engineering, finance, procurement and suppliers Requirements: - Experience in purchase order processing or transactional purchasing - Comfortable working with BoMs, spreadsheets and ERP or purchasing systems - Strong attention to detail and data accuracy - Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities - Confident following defined processes and approval routes - Clear and professional communication skills Desirable: - Experience working with NetSuite - Experience with technical engineering suppliers Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
