7.5 Tonne Sweeper Driver Location: Charnwood, LE12 Pay Rate: £13.92 per hour Start Date: Immediate Start Available Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:15pm Join a Dedicated Environmental Services Team We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated 7.5T Sweeper Driver to join a busy operational team based in Charnwood (LE12). This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established organisation, playing a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming public spaces across the local community. This hands-on role involves driving and operating specialist street sweeping vehicles while supporting environmental and waste management operations throughout the area. Key Responsibilities Safely drive and operate specialist 7.5T street sweeping vehicles Clean designated roads, footways, public spaces, and highways Remove litter, leaves, debris, and other waste materials Carry out bulky waste collections in accordance with operational requirements Lead and complete daily routes efficiently and safely Conduct vehicle checks and accurately report defects or maintenance issues Complete all required compliance documentation, including working hours and fleet records Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures Maintain relevant licences, qualifications, and training requirements What We're Looking For Full UK Driving Licence with C1 (7.5T) entitlement Previous experience driving 7.5T vehicles is desirable Strong communication and teamwork skills A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Willingness to undertake additional training where required Commitment to maintaining a valid driving licence and reporting any changes promptly We are committed to fair and inclusive recruitment.
