Electrician

Job Title: Site Electrician Location: Shoreham‑by‑Sea The Opportunity We're looking for a Skilled Site Electrician to support electrical maintenance and repairs across a busy industrial environment within a company that specialises in the the manufacture of high-performance automotive engines and other products. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their industrial experience while working across a range of electrical and control systems. What You'll Be Doing Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs Support site operations to ensure systems run safely and efficiently Work across a range of electrical and control systems Maintain compliance with health & safety standards Complete reports and documentation using computer systems Support occasional out‑of‑hours work when required What You'll Need to Succeed Essential: Experience as an electrician in an industrial or commercial environment - purely experience in residential electrics cannot be considered 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) Strong fault‑finding and maintenance skills Good understanding of health & safety practices Basic computer skills for reportingDesirable: Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent) Experience with three‑phase motors and control systems Background in facilities or multi‑site environments IPAF, PASMA or working at height certifications What We're Looking For Practical, solutions‑focused mindset Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexible approach, including working at height when needed Commitment to maintaining safe working practices
