Forklift Driver

Prime Appointments are currently working with a well-established and growing independent civil merchant based in Witham, who are looking for an experienced FLT Driver to join their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FLT Driver who has previously worked within a builder's merchant, yard or warehouse environment and is confident operating a Counterbalance Forklift . Location: Witham Salary: £12.71-£13.50 Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm Job Type: Temp to Perm Duties will include: Operating a Counterbalance Forklift and Telehandler safely and efficiently Loading and unloading vehicles Moving and organising materials around the yard and warehouse Checking incoming and outgoing goods are correct and damage-free Picking and preparing materials for customers and deliveries Assisting with stock checks Keeping the yard and warehouse clean, tidy and organised Following all health and safety procedures Working efficiently to meet daily deadlines Supporting the wider yard team when required Requirements: Valid Counterbalance FLT or JCB Telehandler licence is essential Previous FLT driving experience Experience working within a builder's merchant or similar environment is a bonus Good communication skills Reliable and hardworking Able to work as part of a team Good attention to detail Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Benefits: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension Employee discount Free on-site parking Full uniform and PPE provided Permanent position with a growing companyIf you're an experienced FLT Driver looking for a permanent opportunity with a well-established company in Witham, apply today through Prime Appointments!
