Job Role: CNC Machinist (Horizontal Machining Centre) Location: Wakefield Salary: £17.00 - £18.00 per hour Metalis are working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for a CNC Machinist (Horizontal Machining Centre) to join their team. Job Duties: * Set, operate and program horizontal machining centres * Read and work from engineering drawings * Support continuous improvement activities * Ensure machining processes are followed * General machine maintenance * Carry out inspection checks on parts * Use manual measuring equipment Job Requirements: * Apprentice trained machinist * Experience with horizontal machining centres * Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls * Experience working within a heavy engineering environment Salary & Shift: * £17.00 - £18.00 per hour * Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm & Friday, 8am - 1pm If this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV
