The Opportunity First Achieve Engineering is partnering with a leading engineering business to recruit an Electrical Service Engineer for its expanding Service & Repair team. This role combines field-based and workshop work, supporting customers across the Central Belt of Scotland. You'll be working on a broad range of HVAC, commercial and industrial equipment, carrying out reactive breakdowns, servicing, repairs and commissioning. Key Responsibilities Service, repair and commission: Submersible pumps Booster sets Pump stations Variable Speed Drives (Inverters) Electric motors and associated control systems Diagnose and repair faults on motor circuits, control panels and inverter drives. Carry out electrical fault finding on pumps and associated equipment. Strip, inspect and assess motors, pumps and fans alongside the mechanical team when required. Commission new equipment and ensure systems operate efficiently. Complete risk assessments and work safely in accordance with Health & Safety legislation. Produce detailed service reports and maintain excellent customer relationships. What We're Looking For Electrical qualification (NVQ/SVQ, HNC/HND, City & Guilds or equivalent). 18th Edition qualification desirable but not essential. Previous experience in a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Field Service role. Strong experience fault finding on: Electric motors Motor control circuits Variable Speed Drives (VSDs/Inverters) Control panels Experience within industrial, manufacturing, wastewater, HVAC or building services environments. Full UK driving licence. Excellent fault-finding and communication skills. What's on Offer Up to £45,000 basic salary. Overtime available. Company vehicle. Pension.
