Role: 7.5 Tonne Driver - Event Hire Location: Shefford, Bedfordshire Hours: Rolling Shift Pattern - Weekend Availability Required Salary: £15.00 an hour, weekly pay Immediate Start Available We are currently recruiting for a reliable and adaptable 7.5 Tonne Van Driver to support a busy and growing event hire business. This is a varied role supporting the delivery and collection of event equipment across multiple locations. You’ll be working as part of a two-person team alongside a Drivers Mate, ensuring all items are delivered safely, professionally and on time. Please note — this is not a fixed-shift role and flexibility is essential due to the nature of the events industry, including early starts, later finishes and weekend workin Duties of a 7.5 Tonne Driver: Driving a 7.5T vehicle to event locations Loading and unloading event equipment in teams of two Delivering and collecting chairs, tables and event hire products Ensuring safe handling and transport of equipment Providing excellent customer service onsite Working flexibly around changing delivery schedules and event requirements What we would like from you: Full UK Driving Licence (7.5T) Comfortable with manual handling and physical work Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends Reliable and professional attitude Strong teamwork skills Previous delivery or event experience beneficial but not essential If you are interested in this role, please apply below with your most recent CV.
