Physiotherapist in Oncology

Evolve Staffing Ltd. is pleased to invite applications from qualified Physiotherapists for a Band 6 Oncology Physiotherapist contract with a premier NHS Trust in Bristol. This rewarding role is focused on providing compassionate, evidence-based physical rehabilitation to inpatient and outpatient oncology populations, addressing post-surgical recovery, palliative management, and cancer-related fatigue. Core Responsibilities & Clinical Duties: * Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and devise individualized physical rehabilitation programmes for patients undergoing active cancer treatment or palliative care. * Manage complex respiratory, musculoskeletal, and neurological impairment resulting from oncological conditions and surgical procedures. * Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) including Oncologists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Occupational Therapists, and Palliative Care teams. * Promote functional independence, pain management strategies, and mobility maintenance to enhance overall quality of life.
