Production Operative

Production Operative   Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for a Production Operative to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position. Responsibilities as a Production Operative:  Assemble conventional and SMT circuit boards in accordance with build instructions, specifications and quality standards. Undertake cable and wiring assembly using Hand soldered and Hand crimped terminations to required standards. Build finished products and sub-assemblies from components in line with production documentation, drawings and works instructions. Carry out fault identification, rework and repair of assemblies affected by defects or non-conformances. Complete in-process inspection checks and maintain accurate production records. Requirements: Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly  Ability to understand product build requirements and read technical drawings  Good manual dexterity and hand – eye coordination  Hand soldering and crimping experience  Excellent eye for detail  The Production Operative role: Salary of £26,227 - £30,000 depending on experience Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4pm  20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service) If you are interested in this Production Operative position, please apply below or contact Jemma at Pertemps
