Teaching Assistants Required - Immediate Start Location: Kingston upon thames Salary: £95-£110 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Lotus Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist independent school and is looking to appoint up to 5 Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and dedicated team. We are keen to hear from experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Youth Workers, Support Workers, graduates, or individuals with transferable skills who are passionate about supporting young people in Years 8 and 9. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of students who may require additional support with their learning, communication, social development, or emotional wellbeing. The Role * Supporting students aged 12 to 14 in both classroom and small group settings (They also have a Primary section if you prefer) * Assisting with learning activities to help pupils engage and achieve their potential * Providing additional support to students with a range of additional needs * Building positive relationships and promoting confidence and independence * Working closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment We Are Looking For * Previous experience working with children or young people in schools, colleges, care, youth work, coaching, residential settings, or similar environments * A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Individuals who are passionate about helping young people succeed * Candidates who are open to supporting students with additional needs What We Offer * Immediate starts available * Long-term opportunities with potential for permanent positions * Ongoing support from Lotus Recruitment * The chance to work within a welcoming and supportive school environment * Valuable experience for those considering a career in education Interview Process Interviews are taking place next Tuesday and Wednesday, with successful candidates able to start as soon as possible.
