Location: Bridgend Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 DOE Full Time | Permanent Looking for your next bookkeeping opportunity within accountancy practice? I’m working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Bridgend that is looking to add a Bookkeeper to their team. You’ll work with a varied portfolio of SME clients, taking responsibility for day-to-day bookkeeping, VAT returns and general client queries. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to develop their career within practice. What you’ll be doing: Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients Processing sales and purchase invoices Completing bank reconciliations Preparing VAT returns Assisting with management accounts and month-end Dealing with client queries Keeping financial records accurate and up to date About you: Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within accountancy practice Good understanding of bookkeeping and VAT Experience with Xero, Sage or QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and organisation Confident communicating with clients Reliable, proactive and keen to develop What’s on offer? £26,000 – £30,000 depending on experience Supportive and friendly team Varied SME client portfolio Training and development opportunities Genuine career progression Interested?
