bout the Role We are looking for a skilled Architectural Technologist to join our technical delivery team in Cardiff. This role focuses on translating design concepts into accurate construction packages, technical detailing, and managing BIM workflows. You will work closely with design architects, project managers, and site teams to deliver technically sound, compliant, and buildable projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the production of comprehensive technical drawing packages, detailed assembly drawings, and specifications (RIBA Stages 3-5). Maintain and manage project BIM models in Autodesk Revit, enforcing BEP (BIM Execution Plan) and modeling standards. Conduct technical reviews, fire safety assessments, and compliance checks against UK Building Regulations and relevant Welsh standards. Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering models into the master Revit environment. Provide technical support during the construction phase, responding to RFIs and conducting site visits to verify compliance with technical documentation. Requirements Qualification: MCIAT or qualified by experience (minimum 3 years post-qualification / post-degree experience). Experience: Minimum 5 years' practical UK experience within an architectural practice or technical consultancy. Technical Proficiency: Advanced, proven skills in Autodesk Revit (including complex detailing, parameter management, and family generation). Deep understanding of UK Building Regulations (including Approved Documents B, L, and O) and construction detailing. Working knowledge of NBS Specification writing and AutoCAD. Valid UK work authorization
