Our client, a leading player in the aerospace MRO sector, is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to join their team at London City Airport. Key Responsibilities: Our client, a part of the British Airways family, operates with a unique approach, providing impeccable customer service in a close-knit environment. You'll oversee the following duties: Lead a team of Licensed Engineers in maintaining a modern Embraer E190 fleet Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance activity for both scheduled and reactive demands Coordinate work requirements, defect rectification, and AOG recovery Promote operational excellence through clear communication and hands-on leadership Foster a positive culture that supports today's operation and future growth Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: CAA Part-66 Category B1 or B1/B2 licence with certification experience Experience in leading engineering teams in a dynamic line maintenance environment Current Embraer E190, Boeing 737, or Airbus A320 type rating (type training can be provided) Solid understanding of CAA Part 145 procedures Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent) Ability to hold an airport restricted zone access and airside driving licence Passion for mentoring and developing team members Benefits: Shift pattern: 5-5-4, guaranteeing 2 weekends off per month Overtime available at current rate x 2 Sign-on incentive and referral bonus scheme Various salary sacrifice schemes (electric vehicle, cycle to work) Health Cash Plan Gym & retail discounts 34 days of holiday entitlement, inclusive of Bank Holidays Extensive staff travel benefits including unlimited standby tickets and discounted airfares At our client, you'll have the chance to take on new challenges and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
