Site Manager (Holiday Cover)

Provide temporary Site Manager cover during periods of holiday/absence, ensuring the site continues to operate safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Take day-to-day responsibility for site operations during the cover period. * Coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries and site activities. * Maintain high standards of health & safety and site housekeeping. * Monitor works against programme, drawings and specifications. * Carry out site inspections and address quality or workmanship issues. * Liaise with the Project/Contracts Manager and provide regular progress updates. * Maintain relevant site records, including inductions, RAMS, permits and daily reports. * Escalate programme, safety, quality or commercial concerns promptly. * Ensure an effective handover to the returning Site Manager. Requirements: * Proven Site Manager/site supervision experience. * Current SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification. * Strong knowledge of construction health & safety requirements. * Confident managing subcontractors and working independently. * Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
