Support Worker – Agency| Carlisle Location: Washington- Tne & Wear (NE38) Role: Agency Support Worker Shift Pattern: Typically 08:00am–20:00pm, 08:00am-22:00PM, 14:30pm- 22:00pm Pay: Competitive agency rates Employment Type: Temporary / Flexible Agency Work We are currently recruiting Support Workers to join our agency team and support services across Peterhead- Aberdeen. These are excellent opportunities for experienced Support Workers looking for flexible agency work, with regular shifts available across community-based services. The Role As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals within community settings, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. Typical shifts are 08:00am–20:00pm, providing the opportunity to secure regular daytime hours. Key Responsibilities Providing person-centred care and support to individuals within the community Supporting service users with daily living activities and maintaining their independence Following individual care and support plans Supporting individuals with appointments, activities and community engagement Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant documentation Working effectively alongside colleagues and other professionals Promoting dignity, choice, independence and safeguarding at all times About You We are looking for reliable and compassionate Support Workers who are confident working within community-based services. You should have: Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or within a similar care environment A caring, patient and person-centred approach Good communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries Flexibility and reliability when accepting shifts Why Work With Us?
