Senior Quantity Surveyor

Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience working on large infrastructure projects? Do you have experience in NEC contract and subcontract management? This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading joint venture on the delivery of HS2 on a contract basis. You'll be joining an established project team and taking ownership of subcontract packages, giving you the opportunity to work across the full commercial lifecycle, from procurement and subcontract placement through to cost management, change control and final accounts. Rate: £550-£650/day DOE - Umbrella, Inside IR35 Location: West Ruislip - minimum 3 days per week site/office-based, with 2 days WFH Duration: 8 months Requirements: ·Minimum 3+ years' experience operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor ·Strong NEC contract experience is essential ·Previous experience working for a main contractor ·Strong subcontract management experience, including procurement, administration, reporting and final accounts ·Experience working on major infrastructure projects, ideally within rail or civils ·Strong commercial reporting, forecasting and cost control experience ·Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent industry experience Key Responsibilities ·Managing subcontract packages from procurement and placement through to final account ·Preparing and reviewing subcontract documentation ·Managing interim applications, payments and final accounts ·Producing monthly cost reports, forecasts and budget reports ·Maintaining effective cost control and supporting change management processes ·Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities ·Working closely with project management and engineering teams to support successful project delivery ·Supporting the procurement process and subcontract tendering activities   This is a great opportunity to work on a major section of HS2, managing significant packages of work within a complex and high-profile infrastructure project.
