Job Title: European Tour Driver – HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Location: Wandsworth, London Salary: Competitive DOE + benefits Job Type: Full-time About the Role Our client, a busy transport operator, is looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) European Tour Driver to join their team, based out of Wandsworth. You'll be responsible for multi-drop European deliveries, working tours of several days at a time across UK/EU routes. What You'll Be Doing * Driving multi-day European tours, delivering and collecting freight across the UK and EU * Planning routes efficiently in line with driving hours and tachograph regulations * Completing all relevant paperwork — CMRs, delivery notes, customs documentation * Ensuring the vehicle and load are secure and compliant throughout the journey * Communicating regularly with the transport office regarding progress, delays, and any issues * Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects * Representing the company professionally at all times, including with European clients/depots What We're Looking For * Full UK/EU HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence * Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Previous European driving experience essential * Familiarity with EU driving hours regulations and cabotage rules * Valid passport, comfortable with overnight stays away from home * Good communication skills and a professional, reliable manner * No more than 6 points on licence (no DR/DD convictions) * Irish citizenship and/or Irish CPC card preferred but not essential — since Brexit, EU/Irish documentation can simplify cabotage and cross-border work, so this is a nice-to-have rather than a requirement Benefits * Competitive salary + overnight allowances * Modern fleet * Ongoing support from the transport office * Long-term, stable work Apply Now and a member of our Driver Team will be in touch to discuss next steps!
