Deputy Nursery Manager

Location: Wandsworth, South West London (SW17) Position: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) Hours: 40 hours per week (Rotating shifts: 8am–5pm, 9am–6pm, or 8am–6pm) Start Date: ASAP About the Nursery This is an opportunity to join a leading bilingual nursery in London where learning happens naturally through play and exploration. The Role The Deputy Nursery Manager will work closely with the Nursery Manager to oversee daily operations, mentor a passionate team of practitioners, and maintain exceptionally high standards of care and education. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior practitioner or leader looking to progress within a unique and rewarding environment. Key Requirements * Qualification: A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher. * Experience: Previous leadership experience in a nursery setting (e.g., Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, Third in Charge, or Deputy Manager). * Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding regulations. * Skills: Excellent communication skills, fluent spoken and written English, and a professional attitude. * Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available). * Desirable: Additional language skills in Spanish are advantageous.
