Junior Cyber Security Technician

A well-established IT solutions company based in the East Midlands is looking to recruit a motivated Junior Cyber Security Technician to join their team. Full training will be provided across all aspects of the role, making it ideal for an individual with a passion for technology and digital security. KEY DUTIES * Assist with monitoring and reviewing security alerts across client and internal systems. * Support the implementation of cyber security measures, including endpoint protection and access controls. * Help identify potential vulnerabilities and assist with routine security checks. * Support user account administration, password management, and authentication processes. * Assist with maintaining security documentation, incident logs, and compliance records. * Work alongside senior team members to investigate and resolve cyber security-related issues. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS * A keen interest in cyber security, IT, and emerging technologies. * Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks. * Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. * A willingness to learn new technical skills, systems, and security practices. * Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, or networks would be beneficial. * A positive attitude and enthusiasm for building a career within the cyber security industry
