We are looking for a Business Development Manager to work on a permanent basis in the Ashton Under Lyne area. Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who has a strong background in engineering. Any expeirence working in fabrication/CNC environments would be advantagous but not essential. Salary is c£50-80,000 per annum (depending on experince) plus company vehicle/allowance plus 25 days' holiday and bank holidays, company bonus, healthcaree etc Main Duties for the Business Development Manager: * Prepare and coordinate commercial proposals and detailed quotations alongside Business Directors and Estimators. * Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities aligned with core manufacturing capabilities. * Manage, retain, and scale strategic key accounts across target sectors. * Drive business development initiatives, including representing the company at major industry events and exhibitions. * Acquire new clients through proactive prospecting, targeted outreach, and sector networking. * Collaborate with internal operational teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction. Essential Skills & Qualifications * Strong technical background with extensive product knowledge of large CNC machining and fabrications. * Confident ability to interpret complex technical drawings and engineering specifications. * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with strong commercial negotiation capability.
