Support Worker - Kent Corus is recruiting on behalf of our client for dedicated Support Workers in Kent. Location: Kent Pay Rate: £12.71 to 13.50 per hour Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time About the Role Our client is seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in supported living and community settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to help people live independently while promoting their dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs. Assist with personal care and daily living activities where required. Support individuals to access appointments, social activities, and community services. Promote independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion. Maintain accurate records and follow support plans. Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals. Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times.Essential Requirements Previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or Healthcare Assistant. Up-to-date mandatory training certificates. Practical Moving and Handling training certificate (essential). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A caring, patient, and professional approach. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential). Right to work in the UK.
