Powered Access Engineer

Location: Sleaford Salary: £38,000-£40,000 + Company Van Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm Bennett & Game are currently working with an established company within the powered access and plant hire industry, who are looking for an experienced Powered Access Fitter to join their team in Sleaford. This is a hands-on position working on a range of powered access equipment, with a mixture of workshop-based repairs, servicing and PDI checks, alongside field-based breakdown and maintenance work. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair powered access equipment Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults Carry out PDI inspections and machine checks Attend customer sites to carry out repairs and maintenance Ensure equipment is safe, reliable and ready for hire Work independently and manage repairs through to completion Support the wider plant and workshop operation when required Requirements Previous experience working on powered access equipment Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills Confident diagnosing and repairing machinery Experience with plant, agricultural or similar equipment will also be considered Reliable, hardworking and conscientious approach Comfortable working both in a workshop and out on customer sitesIPAF/PAL or CAP qualifications are not essential. The key requirement is genuine hands-on experience and the ability to confidently diagnose, repair and maintain machinery.
