Logistics / Stores Manager

JML are recruiting for a Logistics / Store Manager in IP17 1UT. Location: IP17 Rate: £27.50 per hour CIS Start Date: ASAP Contract: Project-based with ongoing work Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics / Store Manager to join a large civil engineering project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of the site stores, ensuring materials, equipment and documentation are accurately controlled and maintained. Key Responsibilities * Manage the day-to-day operation of the site stores. * Receive, check, record and distribute materials, tools and equipment. * Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory is properly controlled. * Manage store information and records using computer systems. * Ensure all equipment and materials are stored safely and correctly. * Maintain accurate documentation and ensure records are kept up to date. * Ensure compliance with PUWER and COSHH requirements. * Liaise with site teams, suppliers and project management to ensure materials and equipment are available when required. * Monitor stock levels and identify any shortages or requirements. * Maintain a clean, organised and safe store environment. * Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping. Essential Requirements * Proven experience working as a Store Manager / Logistics Manager on a large civil engineering project. * PUWER certification and practical experience – essential. * COSHH certification and practical experience – essential. * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. * Previous experience managing site stores and stock control systems. * Excellent organisational and administrative skills. * Good attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and effectively within a busy site environment.
