Sewing Machinist

Sammons Recruitment are seeking experienced Sewing Machinists for our client, based in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals who take pride in high quality workmanship and have strong experience operating sewing machinery within a production or manufacturing environment. You will be working on a variety of sewn components and finished products, ensuring all work meets quality and specification standards. What’s on Offer: Salary:£12.71 ph Job Type: Temp to Perm Location: Hastings Hours: Full-time, Monday- Friday  Key Responsibilities: Operate industrial sewing machines to produce high quality finished products Work from patterns, drawings, or instructions to complete production tasks accurately Ensure all sewn items meet quality and specification requirements Carry out quality checks throughout the production process Maintain a clean and organised workstation Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines Report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly Support general production duties where required  Skills, Experience and Training Requirements: Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist Ability to operate industrial sewing machines confidently and accurately Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Basic understanding of production or manufacturing environments Portfolio of previous work is welcomed and encouraged How to Apply If you are an experienced Sewing Machinist looking for a new opportunity within a supportive and growing business, we would love to hear from you.
