HGV Class 2 Skip Driver Location: Rochford, SS4 Pay Rate: £19 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 5:00pm Optional Saturday Overtime: 6:30am – 1:00pm About the Role Simple Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in Rochford. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with previous skip vehicle experience looking for ongoing, full-time work with regular weekday hours and optional Saturday overtime. Key Responsibilities * Deliver, collect, and transport skips to and from commercial and residential customer sites. * Safely transport and dispose of waste in line with company procedures and environmental regulations. * Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects. * Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately. * Provide a professional and courteous service to customers. * Follow all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and health & safety procedures. * Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle at all times. Requirements * Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. * Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card. * Digital Tachograph Card. * Previous skip driving experience is essential. * Good knowledge of UK driver hours and road safety regulations. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. * Strong customer service and communication skills. What We Offer * £18.50 per hour. * Monday to Friday working pattern. * Day shifts: 6:30am – 5:00pm. * Optional Saturday overtime available (6:30am – 1:00pm). * Weekly pay. * Ongoing, full-time work. * Supportive team environment. * Opportunity to join a well-established waste management operation
