Location: Widnes Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Ongoing Pay: £16.63 per hour (£18.63 including holiday pay) Overtime: Time and a half for hours worked over 48 hours per week Shift Pattern: 4 on / 3 off Experience: Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience required The Role We are currently recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers for an ongoing store delivery contract based in Widnes. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for consistent hours and a 4-on/3-off shift pattern. You will be responsible for delivering goods to stores across the UK. No tramping is involved, and drivers will return home after their shifts. Shift Details * Day shifts: Start times between 12am and 6am * Night shifts: Start times between 2pm and 8pm * Shift length: Up to 12 hours * Guaranteed minimum: 48 hours per week * Shift pattern: 4 days on / 3 days off * Weekends: Included * Night rate: Same pay as day shifts * Overtime: Time and a half after 48 hours * No tramping Duties * Delivering to retail stores across the UK * Completing multiple store deliveries during each shift * Handling roll cages rather than pallets * Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time * Providing professional customer service at delivery locations What We're Looking For * Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence * Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience * Good knowledge of UK roads * Reliable and punctual * Professional attitude * Comfortable with store deliveries and handling roll cages Apply now for an immediate start
