Senior AV Technician (Audio Bias) Royston £34,000 - £40,000 The Role: To play a lead role throughout the preparation, maintenance and operation of audio, video and lighting equipment throughout corporate events and private parties with a primary focus on sound. Key duties include: -          Acting as lead audio technician / sound technician throughout events. -          Testing and preparing equipment in the warehouse ensuring all AV hardware is show ready and functional. -          Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians in the warehouse and on site. -          Act as the point of contact for clients when on site. -          Rigging sound, lighting and video equipment ahead of each event. -          Operation of AV consoles during events such as sound desks, lighting consoles and vision mixers. -          Building and configuration of LED video walls. -          Fault finding and troubleshooting any issues quickly and effectively. -          Occasional delivery of equipment to site. -          Remaining presentable at all times and acting as a point of contact for clients throughout events. -          Shutdown and pack away equipment after each event. Requred skills and attributes: -          3+ years’ experience within an AV / audio technician role with a good all round knowledge of sound desks, PA systems and microphones. -          Knowledge of video and lighting equipment would be beneficial. -          A willingness to work extended hours and weekends where required. -          Experience working within corporate events would be highly beneficial. -          Full UK Driving License -          Right to work in the UK Package details: -          Salary: £34K - £40K -          Increased rate of pay when working on weekends -          24 days annual leave plus bank holidays -          Annual bonus -          Pension -          Pool vehicles available for travel -          Ongoing training provided How to apply: Simply click apply or contact Jake Voisey on the details provided.
